I AM "MALLING"

I just invented words. Mall-ing means a verb to go to mall. That thing can be considered as a habbit for Indonesian teenagers, a "big not" thing to be proud of. Well, to be honest - I don't spend my weekend at malls, I'm not a big going out. My Saturday night seems perfect with DVDs, food delivery and popcorns. I go to mall if I had a purpose; eating, watching, shopping. I'd prefer meet up at somebody's house or cafe, because mall treats people to be super consumptive. And, I still use my parent's money - so I just feel guilty, even they're ok with that. But, yesterday I went there to attend Brightspot. Look up one or two things for my daily wear. And I'm looking for a dress to attend my uncle wedding on September.

Food, One best thing about mall, they provide so many restaurants with great choices and atmosphere. So, I went to my favourite cheescake shop, MAQUI'S - it's a Japanesse. I love it so much. I just knew it when I went with my cousin last month after my arrival here. And I just love it. MAQUI'S is the best!

Brightspot - A Light for Indonesian Fashion

Yesterday, I went to Plaza Indonesia to attend Brightspot, " A curative market for cool stuff". Really it's an awesome place to see young and innovative Indonesian designers. They made extraordinary clother, with a really exclusive cutting - it reminds me of Parisian, London and Italian cutting, with padder,ruffles and layers. The also decorative the small booths in a really fancy way, so they spoiled your eyes to shop and shop more. There are some locally and internationally Indonesian famous clothing line such as NIKCIO and COTTON.INK. Something that really made me love cotton.ink - they invented a Turbular Shawl and introduce fringe mode in Indonesia for shawl, plus the owners/designers are ex students of my previous high school, SMA Santa Ursula Jakarta - that all girl school baby! Also NIKICIO, the owners who currently the designer study in the junior high school. There are also another super cool clothing like MAJIC, MONDAY TO SUNDAY and SIXTEEN D'SCALE for jeans. Looking for what they sell in Brightspot, what I can say is Jakarta is ready to be compared with Milan, New York, Paris and London. Ow yeah baby!

Late Night Photos

I couldn't sleep because I started sleeping at about 7 this evening, so I woke up at 12 and checked my email/facebook or whatever in the internet. I also charged my ipod and cell phone. It's been dead for 3 days - what a lazy pig! Then I received a message from my BF (best friend not boyfie), it was said " Rut, please teach me how to blog". Well, I just love blogging day to day, I think it's one of the way to transfer what's on my mind. Honestly I have a lots of thoughts, things that I want to put them somewhere. I am newbie at this stuff, but I have also tumblr, if you want to visit - it's more a place to put only photos without long texts. Then I realized this is what I like, writing, taking picture - way to be a journalist and writter B) And I took those picture this evening, coincidentally - it all seemed so girlish and pinkish purple-ish B) A really nice midnight post!

Doing Stuffs

I hate when I said I didn't manage to do something because I had to do stuff. Like today, I thought I might have done some part of my Extended Essay but not at all. I do care, but I haven't just moved my part of body to sit and write - all I need is just write, I already got all the data. I felt guilty moreover my dad keep asking me, "So how's your essay? Any improvements?" . So I really have to start, soon. If I want to start, I have to be away from my camera. Because I always doing stuffs with it by taking pictures of objects around my house, which is not good for my concentration.

Hours ago, I just did again. I found some pretty interesting objects around my room - and I love them. I'll tell you why..

Girlfriend Indonesia, my favourite magazine of all. Since it was published I knew its gonna be great. I've missed it so much - haven't read it for 10 months during my study in Italy. xoxo

My blue leopard short. It's my favourite short to go to sleep. I didn't bring it to Italy tho, I forgot. I will bring it this year, so than it can sleep with me ;-)

p.s: I asked my dad's opinion about the photos that I took at the Drama Diana. And sadly he said, "It's too dark, limited zoom - not good". Damn! He hasn't complimented my photos. I hate that he is experienced in things like these -__-
