Texas Sun, So Much Fun!

I just got back from Texas this morning at 10 pm. We drove 20 hours non-stop. Texas was ridonkelously awesome! I had a big deal amount of fun! The weather was always nice and sunny. It was such a perfect gateway!

I went there with a group of students from Wartburg College for a service trip with Habitat for Humanity. We thought we were going to build the house from scratch but it was almost the end product. But everybody worked really hard even tough we expected more!

We volunteered everyday from 7-12am. So we had free time after then and went to the beach. In Corpus Christi they have really good beach areas. The first one that we went was more touristic and downtown, the other one that we went for a couple of time was called CC Beach. CC Beach is purty. The beach was pristine! It was like a private beach.

We also went to Texas State Aquarium and the last day we had dinner at the Big Fisherman Restaurant at Port Aransas. geez, the seafood platter that I ordered was HUGE!!! I could not finish it. I swear.

I definitely will join another service trip this year, especially places like Alabama, Florida and such!

School on Monday! May Term, Play Term!

The World is Here (Iclub Celebrates DIVERSITY)

I am so happy to share my final project for my CA 210 TV and Broadcasting Practicum. We did a PSA to promote an organisation on campus. I did it on Iclub,

I am in a really happy state right now. I am done with final, going to Texas on Friday and the most important thing: I know what I want to do in life and so sure about my future!

Paris May 2013

from Isabella Inggrid's Facebook

I am thinking about Paris again when I am studying French for finals. I am so excited to come back. If things work out I will be studying for May term in Paris next year.

I will come back to Paris and fall in love with a French guy.

One day we’re gonna live in Paris
I promise
I’m on it
When I’m bringing in the money
I promise
I’m on it
I’m gonna take you out to club showcase
We’re gonna live it up
I promise
Just hold on a little more
And every night we’ll watch the stars
They’ll be out for us
They’ll be out for us
And every night, the city lights
They’ll be out for us
They’ll be out for us

One day we’re gonna live in Paris
I promise
I’m on it
I’ll find you that French boy,
You’ll find me that French girl
I promise
I’m on it
So go and pack your bags
For the long haul
We’re gonna lose ourselves
I promise
This time it’s you and me for evermore
And every night we’ll watch the stars
They’ll be out for us
They’ll be out for us
And every night, the city lights
They’ll be out for us
They’ll be out for us

Don't Waste your Youth Growing Up!

Young and free

Full of energy

Don't let people tame you down

Life is meaningless without sense of humour

Ready to face the future

Not afraid to fall!

Always try something new!

Never regret!

What I am wearing:
Leather-j: Old Navy
Top: August Silk
Short: Forever21
Shoes: H&M
Belt and hairband: stores in Waverly

If I had to choose what kind of clothes I would rather to wear everyday, I would definitely go with the clothes that I wore in all these pictures: reckless, young,  and free! Reminds me a lot of the era of 70's and 80's. But you know, Waverly weather is pretty unpredictable, better to keep myself warm!

I think all the pictures that Phoebe took captured all the energy I have. When we were doing the "photofashion" -- (hey I just made up a word! ), I was just jumping around for more than ten times in one click (is it possible?). Take a look also picture of Phoebe and me here.

I love being young, but not afraid to grow up too!

Mary Kay Easter Party

Thanks Mary Kay, Jillian and Melissa!
This Easter Break I stayed on campus. The fact that the break is only four days (another short break) don't make me feel like going somewhere, plus the crazy workload! So, it's my third Easter not celebrating it with my family. But, there's always something cool and new. I remember my first Easter abroad; I went biking to Grado which is 20 km from Duino (so it was 40 km in total)!

This is my first Easter in the USA. And it was nice too. Eventough I missed a lot of fasting weeks on Fridays, just because mensa's meat is more interesting that its fish - but most of it I just forgot that it was Friday! I am glad tho, my last two Fridays I fasted!

And today, we were invited to Mary Kay party. So we were taught about skin care and samples of make up. It was so much fun, especially for me, who never put make up not even mascara or sunscreen.

How was your Easter? Tell me.

Peaches in Library

What are we wearing:Rut (pink top: Topshop, skirt: H&M, shoes: Bata). Phoebe (pink top: forever21, short: ZARA, shoes: Miss Korea)

This has been kept in my saved post for quite a while! These pictures were taken last week by Ravuth Huot. The setting is in the library. Ok we are not talking about Asian stereotype sleeping in the library, but what kind of clothes you could wear to have dates with books in the library (I am joking of course!). For more pictures click here to our blog Ruthie Meets Phoebe. Love you all! can't wait break is in one day!

Happy early Easter!
